Abstract		With a goal to establish comparatibility as well as success rate and guidelines for further development of Slovene system of Safety at Work and Health Protection, we have gathered and analysed selected markers which reveal the state of Safety at Work and Health Protection in Republic of Slovenia. The first part of the research work is about interpretation of results based on other research methods i.e. documentation review, analyse and comparison of available data as well as selection of profession standpoints - safety at work scientist. The second part is a model of priority goals and measures aimed at improving safety at work and health protection in Republic of Slovenia in the period of time between 2004 and 2008.
