Abstract     Immunophenotyping, cytogenic and molecular genetic analysis are nowdays crucial Laboratory investigations in use for characterisation of malignant blood diseases. They enable us to classify malignant blood diseases in cases of unspecific leukemic/lymphomatic cellular morphology and even more important, they enable us, up to some level, to predict clinical courses of the diseases in the future. Accordingly to the later we are able to classify patients into bad, intermediate and good prognostic subgroups. With cytogenetical and especially with molecular genetical analysis we can quantitativelly evaluate residual blood disease in every patient and based on the results tailor patient's future treatment.
