Abstract		The management of cyanide poisoning is determined by the nature of exposure, the severity of poisoning, the proximity of hospital facilities and the presence of risk factors. The use of specific antidotes is limited for the patient in a coma, with dilated non-reactive pupils and deteriorating cardio-respiratory function.
