Abstract		Psychologic responses of children to war situations are described The authores presents the characteristics, which make the war experiences especially traumatizing for the children. The gathered from bibliography some presentations of children's psychic reactions to war situation and of psychological consequences of exposure to extremely traumatic experiences in children, surviving Nazi concentration camps. The further on elucidates the children's experiencing of war situation through the answers of refugees children from Croatia, seeking shelter in Slovenia. Finally she gives the guidelines for psychological protection of chidren during war.
