Abstract     Emergency Medical Service interventions are often associated with technical problems and hazards, which endanger victims and rescue team involved. Therefore good co-operation between rescue Services in the field is very important. In technically difficult interventions EMS co-operates with Police and Fire Service, and in the mountain rescue with Mountain Rescue Service and Helicopter Service. Police Service cares for safety on the spot of intervention when needed and takes care for traffic in the car accidents. Fire Service is skilled for technical rescue and help EMS when there is a difficult access to the patient. Helicopter Service is not yet organised as part of EMS system in the entire state, it takes part mainly in the mountain rescue. In case of accidents with many victims involved, there has to be good cooperation between EMS services. Each EMS has it own dispatch system, which is responsible for co-ordination and activation of EMS teams. EMS Dispatch system for entire state is yet in the phase of construction. On the State level there is no define scheme of co-operation between EMS and other services ( organisation, communication, leading, equipment, plans for great accidents, co-operation of Helicopter Service...). Effective cooperations between EMS and other services is therefore based on the agreements on the local level.
