Abstract		The set ofdata on drugs is specified in Articles 32 and 42 ofthe Law on Distribution of Drugs (Official Gazette of SFRY, no. 43/86) and verified by the Drug Contmittee for each individual drug. In building a drug database we have found that the data on drugs are often inconsistent from the medical and pharmaceutical aspect, and practically inapplicable from the nspect ofinformatics. This has led us to the problem: of verifying data after its preparation for entry, in the drug database, as well as the responsnbility for verifying the data in various datn flows to direct users. For this reason it is our intention to present our findings and proposals to those entntsted with the preparation of a future legislation regulating the registration ofdrugs, ns well ns records and databases in medicine.
