Abstract		In clinical laboratories, serum potassium is generally determined with flame emission photometry or potassium ion- selective electrode. Applying these methods to the clinical spectrophotometric analyzer involves the use of special analytic instruments. A simple potassium photometric assay, readily adaptable to the clinical analyzer is being developed. The paper presents testing results of photometric potassium determination using chromogenic ionophore: trinitroanilino cryptahemispherand (2.2).
