Abstract		Fungal infections of the ears-nose-throat can be classified as noninvasive and invasive. The most common noninvasive fungal diseases of the system is oral thrush. Invasive fungal rhinosinusitis occurs most frequently and immunocompromised patients. The most common cause of it is infection with Aspergillus spp. Because of its rapid progression and the significant morbidity and mortality associated with this condition, the accurate diagnosis and prompt treatment are crucial. At the end of the article is a case report of a nonimmunocompromised patient with invasive form of fungal rhinosinusitis.
Summary		Glivične okužbe v otorinolaringološkem (ORL) področju razdelimo na neinvazivne in invazivne. Najpogostejša neinvazivna glivična okužba v tem področju je ustna kandidoza. Do invazivnega glivičnega rinosinusitisa najpogosteje pride pri imunsko oslabljenih bolnikih. Večinoma je le-ta posledica okužbe z Aspergillus spp. Zaradi hitrega napredovanja bolezni ter visoke obolevnosti in smrtnosti sta za ozdravitev pomembna pravilna diagnoza in hiter pričetek zdravljenja. Na koncu članka je prikaz primera imunsko kompetentnega bolnika z invazivnim glivičnim rinosinusitisom.
