| Abstract | Lyme arthritis is one of the possible causes of acute arthritis in children. Patients with Lyme arthritis, who were treated in the Department of Infectious Diseases in Ljubljana, are presented. Guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of acute Lyme arthritis in children are listed. Recommendations for patients with refractory arthritis, which commonly progresses to chronic Lyme arthritis, are presented. | |
