Abstract		A clinical case of multiple brain abscesses in a twelve-year-old girl with congenital cyanotic heart disease is presented. Brain abscesses are rare in children. Effective management requires prompt diagnosis, surgical intervention in most cases, and prolonged antibiotic treatment. Even after such treatment one-third of survivors develop severe neurological sequelae.
