Abstract		The development of fracture fixation introdeces biological enhancement of fracture healing to complement mechanical stabilization. Bone healing is a complex physiological process where signal molecules - growth factors play an important role. The results of biological enhancement of fracture healing using growth factors are promising.
Summary		Razvoj zdravljenja zlomov prinaša dopolnjevanje mehanskih metod učvrstitve z biološkim vzpodbujanjem celjenja. Celjenje zlomov je kompleksen fiziološki proces, kjer imajo pri uravnavanju velik vpliv signalne molekule - rastni faktorji. Uporaba biološke spodbude z rastnimi faktorji pri zdravljenju zlomov prinaša obetajoče rezultate.
