Abstract		Fracture of the distal radius is the most common fracture in adults. The most important cause is fall on the outstretched arm. There are many classifications of this type of fractures. The treatment method is chosen on the basis of clinical examination, type of the fracture, it's stability and the patient's expectations and compliance. We choose between conservative and operative treatment. With proper treatment and rehabilitation we try to avoid complications and restore the functionality of the hand.
Summary		Zlom končnega dela koželjnice je najpogostejši zlom pri odraslih. Nastane pri padcu na iztegnjeno roko. Obstaja več razvrstitev zlomov distalnega dela koželjnice. Na podlagi klinične slike, tipa zloma, stabilnosti in pričakovanja ter sodelovanja poškodovanca se odločamo glede zdravljenja, ki je lahko konzervativno ali operacijsko. S skrbno izbiro načina zdravljenja in rehabilitacije se želimo izogniti zapletom in povrniti roki čim boljšo funkcionalnost.
