Abstract		Medications contain pharmacologically active substances. They are used for treating different kinds of illnesses in childhood, adolescence and adulthood. Multiple factors influence the activity of medications. The path of the medication from the producer to the user and from storage to preparation is very important. Personnel who handle the medications must receive additional training. The institution itself needs to have guidelines for preparation and application of parenteral medications.
