Abstract     The aim of this prehospital prospective cohort study was to assess the influence of vasopressin on outcome in resuscitated blunt trauma patients with pulseless electrical activity (PEA) cardiac arrest. Our results suggest that the trauma victims with severe blunt trauma and PEA should be initially treated with vasopressin in combination with HHS volume resuscitation followed by standard resuscitation therapy and other procedures when appropriate. Vasopressin might be potentially lifesaving in blunt trauma cardiac arrest compared to standard treatment with adrenaline.
Summary     Namen te prospektivne kohortne študije je bil ugotoviti vpliv vazopresina na preživetje poškodovancev s topo poškodbo in električno aktivnostjo srca brez utripa. Rezultati študije govorijo v prid uporabi vazopresina v kombinaciji s hyperheas-om, namesto standardnega oživljanja z adrenalinom.
