Abstract		Results. It is calculated that gluteus medius muscle contributes 68 percent, rectus femoris 17 percent, gluteus minimus 10 percent, tensor fasciae latae 4 percent and piriformis 1 per cent to keep pelvis leveled. Conclusions; The method demonstrates the use of numerical optimization technique to calculate the muscle forces and hip joint reaction force which gives essential information to design surgical procedures and postsurgical treatment.
