Abstract     An improvement of patient health care process is possible only if the management of a health care institution are constantly collecting information about past and potentially occurring mistakes, analyzing them and identifying their solutions in order to make health care safer and minimize patient risk in all processes of the health care and non-health care staff and a positive working climate, which is a prerequisite for staff to speak freely about the mistakes without being afraid of the consequences. A healthy working climate ensures from the management's systematic approach involving the monitoring, analyzing and creation of the working climate.
Summary     Izboljševanje procesov zdravstvene oskrbe pacientov je mogoče le v primeru, da vodstvo zdravstvenega zavoda nenehno zbira informacije o nastalih napakah ali možnosti nastanka napak, jih analizira in sprejema ukrepe, ki nastanek takih napak preprečijo v vseh enakih ali podobnih procesih zavoda. Pri zbiranju napak morajo sodelovati celotna zdravstvena skupina in nezdravstveni sodelavci. Učinkovito zbiranje nastalih ali možnih napak je mogoče le v neobtožujočem delovnem okolju, kjer vsi zaposleni brez strahu pred posledicami posredujejo podatke o teh napakah. Neobtožujoče okolje pa je mogoče vzpostaviti s sistematičnim pristopom spremljanja, analiziranja in oblikovanja organizacijske klime s strani vodstva zavoda.
