Abstract     The standardization and uniformity of the approaches to risk assessment are a must and immediately after the enactment of risk assessment, it grew in importance throughout the world. The contribution shows basic starting points and the integration of the present model and approaches in Slovenia into a uniform model of risk assessment. The following is represented in the form of submodels: risk assessment, load and strain which are defined in the analyses of the workplaces, humanization measures arising from these definitions and an upgrade in the model availability - humanization. The framework for the implementation of all the activities is determined with the model of safety culture which demands the identification of harmfulness, risks and measures needed to deal with harmfulness and risks; it offers a framework within which it is possible to develop measures from the individual submodel. The model of safety culture offers a strategic basis for the creation of the climate, aspects and values, in which it is sensible to identify risks, try to eliminate them and to introduce measures that enable healthy, effective and safe work. The model presented is an integration of different procedures known so far into a new uniform identity - model of risk assessment - in the relationship worker- work under the auspices of safety culture.
