Abstract		The article discusses the case of a child with Gianotti-Crosti syndrome, which is seen in paediatric dermatological clinics. The disease evolves with a typical papular and papulovesical skin rash, which is symmetrically distributed on the extremities and the face. In most cases the rash is triggered by a preceding viral infection. The diagnosis is based on the very characteristic clinical picture. Treatment is symptomatic. Parents should be informed of the nature of the disease, which spontaneously disappears in 6 - 8 weeks.
