Abstract | Some results of the research, intended to study the relations between the burdening and the fatigue of the pupils on one side and the intelligence, creativity, learning habits, learning motivation and psychosocial status on the other are presented. Aproximately 1600 pupils of the third, fifth and seventh class from 21 elementary schools in Republic of Slovenia were included. The results demonstrate that the burdening of pupils with study, various domestic tasks and activities outside home and schools mostly connected with intelligence. Those pupils who used most of the time for study and those with the least of used time, obtained the worst results on the intelligence test. The same goes for spare time: it is closely related to intelligence. More capable pupils have more free time. Fatigue (physical as well as psychic) is mostly related to the psychosocial state of the pupils. Similar are the relations between functional disturbances and psychosocisl state of the pupils. | |
