Abstract		Conflict interests among people and the possible use of force are the main cause of violence. Variety of phenomena and their causality render impossible a theoretical generalization of violence. Therefore there is much more adequate knowledge concerning individualized and maybe also group violence. The institutionalized national resp. structural violence is much less analyzed especially in criminology. It is therefore easier to recognize personalized victimization than treat violence theoretically from the distance, or the not directly provoked aggression and repression. Up-to date regulation of violence tries to achieve some sort of "cultivated violence" and lessen the vulnerabiliy (at least) of individuals.
