| Abstract | In the contribution, the answers of 350 pedestrians, inhabitants of Domžale community which cooperate in the inquiry concerning knowledge, standpoints and acting, linked with the prevention of traffic accidents are presented. The inquiry was carried out in the complex of 1st phase of the Programme for accident prevention in road traffic in Domžale community. Programme is educational and oriented to all the traffic participants (children, drivers, pedestrians, traffic policemen). The main goals of the programme are decreasing of accident number in road traffic in Domžale community and the conceptualising of a model for injury prevention in road traffic, which could be used also in other Slovenian communities. The knowledge of standpoints, acting and knowing of pedestrians will be used for forming of preventive programme, intended for pedestrians. | |
