| Abstract | The inhibition of growth of the a-pheromone-supersensitive tester Saccharomyces cerevisiae by collection strains of Saccharomyces sensu lato (S. barnettii, S. castellii, S dairenensis, S. exiguus, S. kunahirensis, S. martinidae, and S. spenderororum) was shown. Among the meiotic segregants of the heterothallic strain S. transvaalensis CBS 2248, monogenic segregation with respect to the ability to form a- and alpha-pheromones was discovered. |
