Abstract		Introduction: The Slovenian Nursing Review (Slo Nurs Rev) web page has been updated and modernized in order to improve its performance, purposefulness, practicability and support with regard to the professional and scientific workof nurses, midwifes, students of health and midwifery care, etc. One of the ideas for achieving the stated goals was to offer digital archives of fulltext articles published between 1994 and 2005 (15 January 2009). The main aims of the research are a website traffic analysis and the web users' behaviour of the Slovenian Nursing Review. The objective of this article is to clarify whether the modernized and updated website accomplished the stated goals in the period of eight months. Methods: The data for the analysis were gathered in the period between 12 May 2008 (the date when the modernized and updated website opened to visitors) and 15 January 2009. A software tool WebLog Expert 5.6. was used. Results: During the eight months period the modernized and updated website of the Slovenian Nursing Review (http://www.obzornikzdravstvenenege.si/) was visited by 27.238 visitors.On average, 108 visitors from 15.872 different IPs visited this website. The number of visitors increased during this period, i.e. from 1.233 in May 2008 to 5.546 visitors in December 2008. The majority of visitors visit the websiteon Mondays and Tuesdays, most often between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The mostvisited subsite is the full text articles page and the most often downloaded documents comprise the order form, submission guidelines and the declaration of authorship and copyrights. The majority of visitors come from Slovenia (90,48%), followed by the United States of America (4,05%). The most frequent reference links are www.najdi.si and the website Zbornica-Zveza. The top referring search items in the Google search engine include Slovenian Nursing Review, Nurse and Midwives Association, review, nursing review, and health care review. (Abs. trunc. at 2000 ch.)
Summary		Izhodišča: Spletna stran Obzornika zdravstvene nege je prenovljena v duhu njene večje namembnosti, uporabnosti, prepoznavnosti in podpore: pri strokovnemu/znanstvenemu delu medicinskim sestram, babicam, študentom zdravstvene in babiške nege ter ostalim. V ta namen je uredništvo na spletni strani ponudilo digitalni arhiv celotnih besedil objavljenih člankov v obdobjuod 1994 do 2005 (15. 01. 2009). Namen raziskave je spletna analiza prometa in spletno vedenje obiskovalcev Obzornika zdravstvene nege. Prispevek želi pojasniti ali je prenovljena spletna stran v času osmih mesecev od objavedosegala svoj namen? Metode: Podatki za analizo spletne statistike so zbrani v času od objave prenovljene spletne strani od 12. 5. 2008 do 15. 01. 2009. Uporabljeno je bilo programsko orodje WebLog Expert 5.6. Rezultati: Prenovljeno spletno stran Obzornika zdravstvene nege (dostopno na: http://www.obzornikzdravstvenenege.si/) je v opazovanem obdobju obiskalo 27.238 obiskovalcev, v povprečju 108 na dan in s 15.872 različnih IP številk. Število obiskovalcev narašča (1.233, maj 2008 - 5.546 dec. 2008). Ponedeljek in torek spletno stran obišče največ obiskovalcev, najpogosteje med 11:00-14:00 uro. Najbolj obiskana je podstran s članki celotnih besedil. S strani največkrat preneseni dokumenti so: naročilnica, navodila avtorjem prispevkov ter izjava o avtorstvu in avtorskih pravicah. Iz Slovenije je 90,48% obiskovalcev, sledijo ji Združene države Amerike (4,05 %). Najpogostejša referenta sta www.najdi.si in spletna stran Zbornice-Zveze. Iskalni pojmi, ki jih obiskovalci najpogosteje vpišejo v Google so: obzornik zdravstvene nege, zbornica zdravstvene nege, obzornik, zdravstveni obzornik ter obzornik zn. Windows XP je najpogostejši operacijski sistem. Firefox, Internet Explorer 6.x, Internet Explorer 7.x so najpogostejši brskalniki, ki jih uporabljajo obiskovalci. (Izvl. skrajšan na 2000 zn.)
