Abstract		Author presents some characteristic findings regarding oral health in R Slovenia on the base ofregular health statistical system, special iniormation system for follow-up of dental and oral health status ad hoc performed epidemiologic polling and other researches. Findings are related to anthropologic characteristics regarding the eruption of permanent teeth; organization, work, financing and use ofdental health activities; state and trends regarding the prevalence ofmost common dental and oral diseases in comparison with pledged national aims for oral health by the year 2000. The majority of findings and trends in the last 10 years shows a gradual improvement oforal health. With the intention to maintain these favourable trends, the propositions of measures and schemes for a preventive dental health programme according to institutions, performers, activities and users are also given.
