Abstract		Data from the inquiry, performed by physicians at Centre for clinic psychiatry, Ljubljana-Polje (CKP) are presented. 22 physicians collaborated in the inquiry which was aimed at getting the information about bed occupancy, sex and age of patients, treated at CKP their marital and familiar state, education, profession and economic state their local origin, type of disease they are being treated for course of treatment and number of hospitalizations, their medical, social and professional prognosis, conditions in which patients reside and are treated, and about the number and qualification of perssonnel dealing with them. The purpose of the inquiry has been to find out whether there is a basis for a change or for a new forming of development and activities strategy of hospital and out of hospital CKP sphere of activities. Findings and conclusions obtained from the answers in the inquiry are stated at the end of individual chapters. It follows from the findings, that there is a grounded basis for a request for the new CKP strategy of development and artivity.
