| Abstract | The article presents the treatment offinal renal failure which comprises hemodialysis, CAPD and renal transplantation. The development of all three fields has been very fast; we are already left behind by the others in several areas: technical aspect and the education of nurses and patients. The nurses in Europe are united in the association called EDTNA/ERCA. In the association, also dieteticians, physiotherapists, social workers and others involved in the treatment of patients with flnal renalfailure cooperate. The aim ofthe association is the dispersion of the news in the field and professional help in the education of all staff. | |
