Abstract		Everyday life in Slovenia is intertwined with consuming of alcohol, which has numerous consequences. Several various factors are influencing drinking of alcohol. Their mutual relation can be illustrated with a triangle, with the following corners: man - agens - environment. The majority of Slovenes come across alcohol already in childhood. In the research performed some years ago in the frame of health educational programme in the community of Litija, the author found out that alcohol was quite often consumed already by the pupils in elementary schools. In the article he tries to find out how to expose the problems of alcohol consumption to the children so that they could realize the meaning of life without alcohol.
