Abstract     Article deals with drugs used in coronary artery disease, particularly beta blokers, calcium channels antagonists and nitrates. Beta blokers are especially efficient in effort inducible angina pectoris, adverse effects depends mostly upon lypo-or-hydro solubility, cardioselectivity and dosage. Most important side effects are bradycardia, congestive heart failure and bronchospasm. Nitrates are used in all kind of angina, most common adverse effects are headache, hypotension and collapse. Calcium channels antagonists can make angina even worse, usually are used in vasospastic angina. Adverse effects depends mostly on group of calcium channels antagonists, the most dangeroous side effects are congestive heart failure and bradycardia.
