| Abstract | In all WHO state members the health information systems should by the year 2000 actively support forming, implementing, control and evaluation of "Health for all" policy. In 1991, the INDOK unit of University Institute for health protection gained the status of WHO documentation centre for Slovenia and holds it also after the reorganization into Institute of public health of the Republic of Slovenia. The role of WHO documentation centre is in WHO materials distribution, transfer of informations concerning WHO documents into Slovenian information space and in translating and presenting more important WHO materials. | |
