Abstract		Introduction: It is necessary in modern Orthopedics to use questionnaries for evaluating illness progression and for testing the efficiency of conservative or operative treatment. In Slovenia there has not been an adequately translated and verified questionnaire to obtain comparable results about elbow function. Conclusion: For the purpose of this contribution, various questionnaires for the evaluation of elbow function have been obtained and four most frequently used and described ones have been studied. Lacking one unified questionnaire, and because of the shortcomings of the existing ones, we have chosen three questionnaires suitable for translation and adaptation to the Slovene language. General international recommendations have also been taken into account.
