| Abstract | The most important parameters when appropriate control of the pain is desired are description of the pain, the timing and location, the choice of an appropriate analgesic and consideration of side effects. Nonopioid analgesics are comparable due to efficacy, so their choice is mostly based on a drug safety profile. On the other hand, opioid analgesic differ in terms of efficacy and have more or less the same safety profile. | |
