Abstract     LaBrune-Boussignac special tracheal tube has capillary lines, through which oxygen continuously, flow into the trachea. During cardiopulmonary resuscitation we do not perform classic ventilation, but. the patient is indirectly ventilated by an external heart massage. Boussignac CPR tube also has a special capilares for the measurement of C02 that are slightly narrower in diameter, therfore we wanted to determine the values of capnometry and capnography in the distal part of the tube compared with the proximal part. Proximal measurement is a standard measurement of C02 in the central lumen of tracheal tube. We did not find any significant differences between the values of capnometry at the distal (39.7 Ž 0.4 mmHg) and at the proximal part (39.9 Ž0.3 mmHg) (p = 0.22). However the difference was slightly visible where phaseI and 0 at the distal part were flatter. We also found slightly elevated inspiratory C02 concentration in the distal part (0.2 mmHg).
Summary     LaBrune-Boussignac specialni sapnični tubus ima v svoji steni posebne drobne kapilare, skozi katere kontinuirano dovajamo kisik v sapnik. Med kardiopulmonalno reanimacijo se skozi ta tubus ne izvaja klasična ventilacija,ampak bolnika ventiliramo posredno s pomočjo zunanje masaža srca. Tubus ima posebne ozke cevke za merjenje C02, ki vodijo do distalnega dela tubusa, zato nas je zanimalo, kakšne so vrednosti kapnometrije in kapnografijena tem distalnem delu tubusa v primerjavi s proksimalnim delom. Proksimalno merjenje je standardno merjenje C02 na osrednji svetlini tubusa. Na simulatorju nismo ugotovili razlik med vrednostmi kapnometrije na distalnem(39,7Ž0,4 mmHg) in proksimalnem delu (39,9Ž0,3 mmHg) (p=0,22). Razlika je bila nekoliko vidna v kapnogramu, kjer sta bili na distalnem delu fazi I in 0 bolj položni. Zaslediti je bilo tudi nekoliko povišano inspiracijsko koncentracijo C02 na distalnem delu (0,2 mmHg).
