Abstract		The development of kinematic methods, computing technology, expert knowledge, and in connection with these of artificial intelligence, has made possible a completely new approach to the study of the athlete's successfulness on the basis of expert modelling. The model of success in different sports is based on the formalism of the nets whereas the knots represent single subsistem. At high jump as a typiral technical track and field event, the motor ability of the jumper is undoubtedly decisive. Presented in this study is a practical example of a kinematic model of high jump, evaluated on the dasis of expert modelling.
