Abstract		Forestierov sindrom oz. idiopatsko difuzno hrbtenično hiperostozo pogosto opažamo pri našem delu. Gre za rentgenološko potrditev sprememb na hrbtenici, posebej na hrbtenici vratnega in torakalnega dela. Kljub temu, da so spremembe prisotne pri lažjih nihajnih poškodbah vratnega dela hrbtenice ter udarninah torakalne hrbtenice, še vedno ni znana etiologija Forestierovega sindroma oz. opaznih rentgenoloških sprememb. Pri zdravljenju bolečin, ki spremljajo Forestierov sindrom, uporabljamo različne oblike fizikalne terapije.Syndroma Forestier or Diffuse Idiopathic Skeletal Hyperostosis DISH is relativly often condition in the older population, especially in men. We find the change accidental when the x-ray is necessary for diagnosis other disease. This condition does not make great difficulty until the time the signs of diabetes mellitus beguns, or dysphagia, hoarsenes, fracture of the vertebra, or ribs, and other symtoms. Cause of this syndrome is yet unknown. Is seems, it may be trauma, or contusions of the spine. Therapy is not specifhic. We recommend the natural remedies, from climatherapy to balneotherapy, together with kinesitherapy.
