Abstract | Umetna inteligenca je področje interdisciplinarne znanosti, ki povezuje vede, kot so psihologija, matematika, nevrofiziologija, logika, filozofija, fizika in druge. Omogoča razvoj umetnih sistemov, ki se obnašajo inteligentno v zapletenih situacijah. Poenostavljeno bi lahko inteligenco opredelili kot sposobnost prilagajanja okolju in reševanja problemov. V biomedicini lahko z uporabo odločitvenih dreves poskusimo napovedati dogodek v prihodnosti ali poiskati alternativne možnosti za dosego cilja, ki bodo skrajšale čas, zmanjšale stroške in število zapletov pri bolnikih ter omogočile doseganje boljših rezultatov. V prispevku avtorji predstavijo uporabo te metode v klinični medicini in odločanju v vsakodnevni praksi.Artificial intelligence is an area of interdisciplinary science that brings together different disciplines such as psychology, mathematics, neurophysiology, logic, philosophy, physics, and others. It allows the development of artificial systems that behave intelligently in complex situations. Simplified artificial intelligence could be defined as the ability of adapting to the environment and solving problems. In biomedicine we can use decision trees to predict future event or find alternative ways of achieving the goal, which will reduce time, costs and number of complications in patients and allow to achieve the desired, better result. In this paper the authors present the application of this method in clinical medicine and decision-making in everyday practice. | |
