Abstract		The interceptive orthodontic appliances are used mainly in deciduous and mixed dentition. The approach is simple because their influence has to corrigate begining anomalies of growth and development. So the begining symptoms can be corrected rather quickly. The interceptive orthodontic therapy is regulary done by orthodontist, but it can be done by pedodontist and dentist as well. The methods we mostly use are: inclined plane, vestibular shild and chin cap. We present these appliances, treatment and some of the technical processes which the therapist in the orthodontic service and the dental technician in the orthodontic laboratorie carry ouot.
