Abstract     Človek ima že od nekdaj posebno vez s konjem. Še posebej otroci hitro vzpostavijo močno vez s konjem, če le dobijo priložnost. Poleti 2012 so na Biotehniškem centru Naklo potekale skrbno načrtovane aktivne delavnice za otroke. Izvajale so se v kombinaciji otrokovega stika s konji in dela z njimi.Namen delavnic je bil spremljanje razvoja otrokove samopodobe ob stiku skonjem. Glavni cilj je bil razviti uporaben model, ki bi se lahko ponudil kotaktivna oblika dejavnosti tudi nadaljnjim zainteresiranim skupinam. V ospredju referata bo predstavljena metoda spremljanja razvoja samopodobe pri otrocih, starih od 6 do 14 let. Predstavljeni bodo tudi rezultati, ki so se pokazali v enoletnem delovanju in spremljanju otrok pri taki dejavnosti. V uvodu je na kratko opisan vzorec otrok in aktivnosti, v jedru načini spremljanja in rezultati, ki kažejo, da so vodene delavnice v tej obliki vplivale na večino kriterijev spremljanja otrokove samopodobe. Tak model želimo ponuditi in izvajati tudi za naslednje skupine otrok.People have always had a special bond with horses. Especially children quicklybond with horses if the oppurtunity arises. In the summer of 2012 therewas a number of carefully planned active workshops for children at the Biotechnical Centre Naklo that were planned as a combination of both children's contact with horses and working with them. The purpose of the workshops was to observe the development of children's self-esteem when in contact with horses. The main objective was to establish a model which could be used later on for the coming groups of interested children. The main point of the report is to present the model of observing children's self-esteem,aged between 6 and 14. In addition we would like to give the results of one-year observation of children in this activity. In the introduction there is a short description of the pattern of the children and activities, the main part of the research includes the methods of observation and results which show that guided workshops in this form have influenced the majority of criteria for observing children's self-esteem. We would like to carry out and offer this model to the future groups of children.
