Abstract		Med funkcionalnimi motnjami, ki pacientu sprožajo občutke negotovosti, sramu, odvisnosti in manjvrednosti, je na prvem mestu inkontinenca. Vzroki uhajanja urina so različni in lahko nastopijo v različnih življenjskih obdobjih. Ob sprejemu v Univerzitetni rehabilitacijski inštitut imajo pacienti trajni urinski kateter. Med hospitalizacijo bo načrtovana odstranitev katetra. Sledil bo trening mehurja in sterilna intermitentna katetrizacija. Zaradi prevelike količine urina, ki se spontano ne izloči, bo potrebna intermitentna katetrizacija tudi v domačem okolju. Pacienti se učijo čiste intermitentne katetrizacije. V primeru, ko ni ohranjena zadovoljiva funkcija rok, se te veščine učijo tudi njihovi svojci.Functional disorders, which cause a patient feelings of insecurity and shame, dependence and inferiority, the incontinence, is on the first place. Causes leakage of urine are different and can occur at different life stages. Upon acceptance into the Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for rehabilitation patients have a permanent urinary catheter. During the hospitation, catheter removal is planed. After the removing of the catheter training and sterile intermittent bladder catheterization is following. If in the bladder remains too much urine, which isn't eliminated, the patient will require intermittent catheterization for long period of time even in their home environment too. They learn how to do clean intermittent catheterization by themself. If the fuction date of their fingers isn't sufficient, the relatives also learn the clean intermittent catheterization.
