Abstract     Izhodišča: V poklicni in zaposlitveni rehabilitaciji je vse več dokazov o povezanosti krepitve notranje moči uporabnikov s pomembnimi rehabilitacijskimi izidi. Naš namen je bil preučiti uporabnost vprašalnika Vrij Baan za opredeljevanje potreb, načrtovanje obravnav in ocenjevanje izidov programa zaposlitvene rehabilitacije. Metode:Vprašalnik Vrij Baan je orodje za samooceno. Sestavlja ga 60 trditev, ki opisujejo šest komponent notranje moči: sposobnost, odločanje o sebi, smisel, vpliv, pozitiven občutek o sebi in sodelovanje v skupini. Vprašalnik je 23 udeležencev zaposlitvene rehabilitacije izpolnilo na začetku in na koncu programa. Za statistično preverjanje hipotez smo uporabili test t za ponovljene meritve, test Manna in Whitneyja ter test Kruskala in Wallisa. Preverili smo tudi zanesljivost posameznih lestvic z vidika notranje skladnosti (s Cronbachovim koeficientom ). Rezultati: Rezultati kažejo pozitivne spremembe notranje moči uporabnikov po koncu zaposlitvene rehabilitacije. Za vse komponente so bili rezultati drugega ocenjevanja višji od prvega. Spremembe so bile statistično značilne za komponente pomena, vpliva in sodelovanja v skupini. Statistično značilnih razlik med udeleženci v notranji moči nismo opazili glede na spol, starost, izid zaposlitvene rehabilitacije, njeno trajanje ali vrsto invalidnosti. Opazili pa smo statistično značilne razlike med udeleženci z različno ravnjo izobrazbe, zlasti na področju vpliva, pozitivnega občutka o sebi in sodelovanja v skupini. V splošnem so se udeleženci s peto ali višjo stopnjo izobrazbe ob koncu počutili notranje močnejše kot tisti, ki so imeli nižjo izobrazbo. Notranja skladnost je bila zadovoljiva za vse komponente ( 0,70), razen za sodelovanje v skupini. Zaključki: Rezultati kažejo, da je mogoče vprašalnik Vrij Baan učinkovito uporabiti za ugotavljanje potreb in ocenjevanje sprememb v ravni notranje moči udeležencev zaposlitvene rehabilitacije. Uporaba vprašalnika zagotavlja koristne informacije za oblikovanje programov zaposlitvene rehabilitacije, ki bodo učinkovito krepili moč uporabnikov.Background: There is a growing body of evidence for using the empowerment approach to vocational rehabilitation of people with disabilities. This article is aimed at exploring the usefulness of the Vrij Baan questionnaire for identifying participants empowerment needs, program planning and measuring outcomes of a vocational rehabilitation program. Methods: The Vrij Baan questionnaire is a self-assessment instrument, consisting of 60 items, describing 6 components of empowerment: competence, self-determination, meaning, impact, positive identity and group orientation. Twentythree participants answered the questionnaire at the beginning and after participation in a vocational rehabilitation program. For statistical comparisons, paired -test, Mann-Whitney test and Kruskal-Wallis test were used. Internal consistency of the subscales was assessed using Chronbachs alpha coefficient. Results: The findings pointed to changes in the empowerment of participants at the end of the rehabilitation program. For all the subscales the scores from the second measurement were higher than from the first on average; the difference was statistically significant for the subscales of meaning, impact and group orientation. No statistically significant differences were found between the groups regarding gender, age, vocational rehabilitation outcome, its duration or type of disability. Statistically significant differences were found between participants with different level of education, particularly regarding the impact, positive identity and group orientation subscales. Participants with secondary or higher education felt more empowered at the end of vocational rehabilitation than those with lower education. Internal consistency of the subscales was satisfactory (0.70) except for group orientation. Conclusions: Our results indicate that the Vrij Baan questionnaire can be effectively used for identifying needs and measuring changes in the level of empowerment of participants in vocational rehabilitation programmes. The results of the study and further use of the questionnaire can provide useful information for making existing vocational rehabilitation programmes more effective in empowering the participants.
