Abstract		Methods of quality assessment are described in this article. Evaluation of the process of care follows setting criteria and standards of care. Physician performance must be evaluated with adequate methods that gather appropriate information. Some dilemmas on choosing representative part of care and on choosing reliable and valid method for assessing are discussed. Assessing process of care is emphasized. Problem oriented medical record is a reliable source for process evaluation.
