| Abstract | The article deals with use of medical records as a source of valid and reliable tool in quality assessment process. We mention some inadequacies of medical records and express some caution in using them as ultimate soource. Medical records are proven to be the less expensive tool in assessing medical performance in general. Every practitioner should keep structured medical record on his patient with all needed information on patinent's illness, personality, family, social and working environment. Mentioned are some difficulties in dealing with medical records in our settings. | |
