Abstract		The article deals briefly with present knowledge on quality assurance as cyclic process. Objetives for peer group performance review activities for general practitioners are described. The participants of this year's workshop on quality assurance can use this article as guidelines for carrying on their own quality circles with other colleagues interested on subject.
