Abstract     Absentizem je večplasten in kompleksen pojav, s katerim se ukvarjajo različne znanstvene discipline. Pod pojmom zdravstveni absentizem razumemo izgubljene delovne dneve oziroma čas, ko zaposleni začasno ne more delati zaradi bolezni ali poškodbe. Pri absentizmu posameznikova odsotnost vpliva na sodelavce, ki nadomeščajo tako odsotnost in so tako izpostavljeni večjim pritiskom kot ponavadi, kar posledično prinaša povečane psihične in fizične obremenitve, poleg tega pa tudi pojav povečanega števila ur in dela preko polnega delovnegačasa. Zato so v Psihiatrični kliniki Ljubljana pod vodstvom zavoda inpredstavniki sindikata podpisali dogovor o evidentiranju, planiranju in izplačilu opravljenih ur preko polnega delovnega časa v sektorju zdravstvene nege. Rezultati dogovora so že vidni v letu 2008, saj je že v prvi polovici leta 2008 v zdravstveni negi manj zdravstvenega absentizma in prenosa ur v naslednji mesec, kot v istem času v letu 2007.Absenteeism is a multilayered and complex phenomenon which is concerned by many medical disciplines. Under term medical absenteeism we understand lost work days or time when employee temporary cannot work because of illness or trauma. Individual employee absence from work very much influences on co-workers, who are obliged to substitute for this employee, and are because of this exposed to greater pressure than usual, which consecutively brings about increased psychical and physical burden. Moreover, it brings about greatnumber of extra hours. That is why Psychiatric Clinic in Ljubljana signedan agreement on keeping a record, planning and payment of extra hours done over full time in sector of health care. Results of this agreement are already positively seen in the year 2008, as there is in the first half of the year less medical absenteeism and hour transfer into the following month than in the same time in the year 2007.
