| Abstract | Research of personality traits has a long tradition in psychological science. In the case of Slovenia, this research roughly coincides with the development of modern psychology, with a clear incremental rate in last two decades. The research results concerning the source or primary factors of personality are briefly reviewed in the present paper. The first part of the review contains the results of different multivariate analyses of the structure the source traits, conducted mostly by means of factor and cluster analysis. The correlations of the personality factors with the basic personal categories (age, sex, intelligence and education) are also briefly reviewed. | |
