| Abstract | A monolateral lengthening device designed by the senior author is described and the resullts of 279 procedures performed in 226 patients are analysed. Mean age of patients at the time of treatment was 13 years and 7 months Mean increase in limb length was 4.9 cm. Major complications occurred in 13.9 percent of cases. | |
