| Abstract | | Beschreibung von 5 Patienten, bei welchen nach Blitzschlag eine partielle bzw.totale bilaterale Katarakt auftrat. Andere Kopmplikationen waren eine bilaterale Optikusatrophie und ein Netzhautödem im Bereich beider Maculae. Beizwei Patientinnen wurde eine Kryoextraktion der Katarakt ausgeführt, die restlichen Patienten wurden konservativ behandelt.Report on five patients whom stroke of lightning was followedd by a partial ortotal bilateral cataract. Other complications were a bilateral optic atrophyin one patient and a retinal oedema in the macula area in another. In two patients the cataract was removed by cryoextraction, the rest of the patients were treated conservatively.
