Abstract		Dr. Richard Jug from Solkan (Slovenia) was such an archetype that he deserves a place in the history. Although he was not a writer, his thoughts would be worth reading. With his incredible sense of humor an his sensitivity he could solve numerous delicate situations. He was a gifted and innovative pupil of the surgeon Eiselsberg in Vienna and worked as a military surgeon. He was the founder of The Urology Department at regional hospital in Ljubljana. The author presents his personality trough anecdotes and vivid memories of their encounters.
