Abstract     Dr. Anton Schwab was born on the 7th of January, 1969 in St. Pavel near Prebold. After grammar school he studied medicine in Gradec. After secundariat he was named a district doctor at Vransko and later district doctor in Celje. At the same time he devoted himself to dental practice. He became a medical counsellor. He died in 1938. He published several articles in different journals. For him, good health is a treasure. Even the rich can profit from their wealth only if they are healthy. So, if health is a treasure, we have to guard it and detect its enemies: tuberculosis, Bacchus and Venus. Schwab was a founder and chairman of chess club, as well as, reputed composer and conductor. His well known music Ave Maria, Zlata Krogljica (Golden bullet) and others became popular songs. Medical profession is certainly an art, though it is hard to tell art from non-art. All printed and written monuments of a nation represent the art of writing, recording and functioning in a broader sense.
