Abstract		Dysphagia is a reliable indicator of swallowing act abnormality. The causes range widely from degenerative through cerebrovascular, neurogenic, systemic to anatomical, and physiological abnormalities. The classical radiological examination, even when supplemented with endoscopy, manometry, pHmetry, sonography, CT, and MRI, rarely clarifies the underlying condition. Cineradiography is the method of choice, its advantages being the possibility of the slow-motion analysis of the swallowing process and its many possible disturbances. The method has been used at the University Medical Centre Institute for Radiology in Ljubljana since 1990 in around 100 patients. In order to clarify the indications for cineradiography and to allow the evaluation of its results, the need for a closer cooperation of the specialists concerned with dysphagia is important.
Summary		Disfagija je zanesljiv simptom motenj požiranja. Vzroki so strukturne spremembe in funkcijske motnje, od degenerativnih do cerebrovaskularnih, nevrogenih, sistemskih in drugih. Klasična rentgenska preiskava z endoskopijo, pa tudi usmerjene (manometrija, pHmetrija) in novejše diagnostične metode (CT, UZ, MRI), ne razjasnijo vselej vzroka težav pri požiranju. Uspešnejša je kinoradiografija, ki omogoča analizo upočasnjenega posnetka požiranja in motilitetnih sprememb v vseh fazah. Na Inštitutu za radiologijo KC v Ljubljani smo z njo od leta 1990 pregledali skoraj sto bolnikov. Pomembno in potrebno bi bilo, da bi pri obravnavi disfagij sodelovali specialisti različnih strok; indikacije bi bile jasnejše in rezultati dela razvidnejši.
