| Abstract | Two procedures used in the thermal treatment of Auropal castings are described. Homogenization annealing increases the corrosion resistance of the alloy, and hardening increases its hardness, which is important for the milling technique. Subjective assessment of differences during surface treatment is supported with hardness measurements by Vickers' method. | |
